Lodging:
There is a range of housing choices at Far Horizons, all available to you on a "first come, first served" basis. The room and board chart below will help you calculate your daily room rate, which includes all your meals. (Photos and floor plans of each of our cabins are included in this website to make it easier for you to choose. Just click on "cabins" in the "Daily Room and Board Rate" area below.) All lodging fees are per person, per night and all stays during programs carry the full program fee, whether you attend it or not.
We are happy to work with you to help you settle into your preferred lodging. Nevertheless, reserving early is what ensures having your first choice. Whether it's camping out with hot showers, very simple rooms with a nearby bath house, private rooms with shared baths, or our private cabins - we can find a place for you. (Please keep in mind that any cabin reservation must include the $90 cabin deposit. For more information, see our reservation form.)
Far Horizons is "family friendly". There is no charge for children 5 years old and under, children 6-17 may stay for $35 per day.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Meals:
At Far Horizons, all lodging fees include three hearty vegetarian meals daily, creating exceptional value for our guests. Our meals are ovo-lacto vegetarian, delicious, and eaten out of doors under the trees. We use organic and/or locally grown products in our meals as much as possible. Menus may include some dairy or egg products. We regret that we are unable to provide meals for non-registered folks or special diets for campers.

Accommodations

Camping: There are five ample spaces among the trees for tents, trailers and campers. We have hot showers and flush toilets in the campground. The campsites are farthest from the center of camp but closer to the amphitheater. There is no RV dump available.

Pine Hill Lodge: This is an insulated building with very simple individual rooms, gas lights, and nearby bathhouse with hot showers and toilets. It is located near the kitchen and meeting hall.

Chalet Rooms: These are more warmly insulated larger private rooms with gas lights. Each two rooms share a bath in a common area. The Chalet is located up a short, steep hill about 150 yards from the kitchen.

Chalet Suites: Also located in the Chalet building are these two lovely larger suites. They each offer gas lights, sitting room and bedroom sleeping accommodations for 5-6 people with private bath and small kitchen. Excellent for families.

Cabins: We have five rustic cabins that offer beautiful views, private porches, and their own simple, small kitchens. Most have fireplaces and sleep from four to six. Our smallest cabin is Cedar. Lodgepole, our biggest cabin, is two stories tall. It has a large fireplace, kitchen, and bathtub and can sleep up to eight. We prefer to offer it to groups of 4+, for which very special rates are available (see below).
