Contemplation of the Web of Life:
Intercommunion in the More-Than-Human World
Tom McGee, MFCC
July 2 - 6, 2008

Program fee $90

Most of us live lives that are detached from the primary source of our sustenance - nature and the natural processes that create abundance on our planet. When we get into a natural setting such as the Sierra Nevada, we know that something very nourishing and beneficial occurs, yet we may not be accustomed to accessing all it has to offer - or understanding what we might have to offer in such a place.

Using contemplative techniques, we will explore the experience of ourselves in the outdoors and deepen our connection to the life around us. We will awaken ourselves to the web of life and become participants in the more-than-human world.

Participation in this program will offer:
- A deepened connection with nature and awareness of the interdependence of all living forms
- Access to natural surroundings in ways that support self-esteem and self-image
- Reduced stress through a nurturing relationship to the environment
- Enhanced sensory awareness and mental clarity
- Facilitation of spiritual awareness through nature practices
