Compassion & Silence
Ani Kunzang and Anton Lysy, Ph.D.
September 2 - September 6, 2009

Program fee $90

This unusual blend of Buddhism and Archetypal Psychology brings two presenters back together.who did the Labor Day program at Far Horzons in 2005. For Ani Kunzang Drolma, a Nun of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, that program was her last before beginning a three year Solitary Retreat. She returns this Labor Day for her first program with numerous insights after completing the long retreat. Her reflections on the inner workings of the mind will address an understanding of the importance of compassion as we encounter the suffering of our time. Tony Lysy will focus on the special roles each of us can discover as we explore with humor the range of responsibilities we have to others and to our own eccentricity. For those who have corresponded with Ani Kunzang over the last three years this is an opportunity to spend time with a singular voice after her reflections in solitude.
